What is your tagline or vision/mission statement? Is your content aligned with your values?
Create a list and description of products and/or services you offer in order of priority. Is this list easy to find on your website?
4. KEY BENEFITS
Outline some of the key benefits from your customer’s perspective. (eg: convenience, luxury, and style, easy to use, etc)
5. VISITOR SEGMENTS
What type of visitors are you trying to attract to your website? (eg: new pet owners in NJ, florists in NYC area)
What tone will help you connect with your segments on your website, social media, etc? (eg: friendly, formal, upbeat, energetic, warm, etc)
7. CURRENT PROCESS
How do you currently acquire customers? What does the process look like? (eg: customers go on the website and call us to set up a meeting)
What are the best places to find your ideal customers? (eg: local pet store, pet blogs, industry event, etc)
What keyword phrases are your prospects likely to search for in search engine? (eg: anger management support in NY, alcohol addiction expert)
10. ARTICLE TOPICS
What types of articles would your target audience find most useful? (eg: how to select the right interior designer for your next project)
11. COMPLIMENTARY BUSINESSES
What complementary businesses or industries could you target for cross-promotion? What can you offer them in return?
Who are your competitors and how are you different or better than your competitors? Is your key differentiator highlighted on your website?
13. MARKETING ACTIVITIES
What types of online marketing activities have worked in the past and why? How can you further build or connect these activities?
What types of promotions can you post on Social Media? (eg: free consultation, 20% off coupon, $100 referral fee, 30-day guarantee, etc).
15. EXISTING ASSETS
Do you have any existing images, videos, or content that you can repurpose for your website, blog, newsletters, or social media?
